if you could go back, would you pick a different path?
my answer is no.
i believe that sometimes, the career finds you.
some people use exactly what they studied in university, but reality often looks different.
my brother studied medical equipment but became a software engineer.
another brother studied business and ended up in computer hardware.
expertise often arrives in ways you never planned for.
if the “dream” career feels out of reach, stop chasing the fantasy.
a dream job is simply one that checks the right boxes: stability, income, and a good team.
you only realize this after spending enough time in the trenches.
when you first start out, you are just trying to find your footing.
eventually, the work might feel predictable.
boredom sets in when the challenges disappear.
you get faster and more precise, but the spark fades.
nobody can stay in the same place forever without feeling the weight of repetition.
when the friction stops, it is time to ask for a new role or a bigger challenge.
if your current environment cannot offer growth, look for a new one.
complaining about boredom while staying in a comfort zone changes nothing.
push yourself to do things you have never tried before.
focus on your own improvement, and your career will follow suit.
stop waiting and start leaning into the work you have today.
